HD Clutch Kit, Honda 2008- TRX 700XX

Description

The Sparks Racing Heavy Duty Clutch Kit for the 2008-current TRX700XX is designed to get your engine’s power to the ground. The stock Honda clutch can hardly support the power demands of a stock bike in many riding situations, so as power increases the stock clutch falls short of meeting power demands. The stock clutch employs a “shutter” spring under the bottom fiber clutch plate, which drastically reduces clutch plate surface area. We remove the “shutter” spring and supply all full-size fiber plates. We use heavy duty clutch springs, which promotes increased clutch holding pressure and reduces clutch slippage. Many other clutch kits require you to purchase new steel clutch plates, and it has been our experience it is not required, in most cases, to replace the steel plates. We clean and scuff the steel plates anytime we service the clutch.
